1. "Faith can move mountains" --- explain the sentence in refference to the lesson 'A letter to God'.

"Faith can move mountains" means that strong belief and trust can help a person overcome very difficult problems. means it helps us achieve even the most difficult things in life.

In A Letter to God, Lencho had faith in God. When his crops were destroyed by the hailstorm, he did not lose hope. He wrote a letter to God asking for help. Seeing his faith, the postmaster and his friends collected money and sent it to him.

This shows that faith gives us hope, courage, and strength to face difficulties. If we keep a strong belief in ourselves and work hard, we can achieve our goals. We can overcome challenges, reach great heights, and turn our dreams into reality. Nothing seems impossible when we have confidence, determination, and faith.


2. "Remember, no one dies of hunger." Why did Lencho say so?

Answer: Lencho said this to console and encourage his family after the hailstorm had completely destroyed their crops. His family felt sad and worried because they had no food and no harvest that year. However, Lencho did not lose hope. He had complete faith in God and believed that God would help them in their time of need. Therefore, he assured his family that they would not die of hunger. 

3.Why was Lencho satisfied when the rain came?

Answer: Lencho was satisfied when the rain came  because he believed that it would be very beneficial for his crops. The rain started at the right time, and he thought it would ensure a good harvest. Looking at the falling raindrops, he compared them to "new coins" because they promised prosperity and a rich crop. Therefore, he felt happy and satisfied.


4. What did Lencho think of God on the night when the hailstorm destroyed his corn?

Answer : On the night when the hailstorm destroyed Lench's corn, he thought only of his one hope - the help of God. He believed that God's eyes see everything, even what is deep in one's conscience. Therefore, he had complete faith in God and believed that God would help him and his family in their time of need. So he wrote a letter to God for help.
